Abstract

Charles Schmid, internationally recognised expert in teaching and training, former professor at New York and Texas Universities, and President of the LIND Institute in San Francisco, will be visiting the UK in October. It is part of a European tour during which he will lead seminars for business organisations, TV, radio and educational organisations in the UK, Germany, Sweden and Finland. Dr. Schmid will teach New Techniques for Effective Communication in a three‐day seminar arranged by ITD in cooperation with Productivity Improvements Ltd. It is designed for anyone who is involved in helping others learn and understand. That could apply to almost anyone, but trainers, salespeople (particularly those who regularly make presentations) and teachers will obtain special benefit. During the workshop, participants will develop their communication skills and be encouraged to be more effective in their work both with individuals and groups. The seminar takes place from 16–18 October in London.
