Updating for Business Stressmanship

Abstract

Open BTEC and Macmillan Education have joined forces to launch a major new training initiative which will break down traditional barriers to the continuing education and training of people in work. Under the joint imprint Open BTEC/Macmillan they will produce a range of materials designed to update junior and middle managers in the latest developments in business and new technology, and the changing vocational, sociological and economic needs of the country — without interfering with their work. The materials are aimed at employees and individuals who want, or are required, to increase their effectiveness in their present jobs, change direction or enhance their promotion prospects, acquire or further their management skills, adapt to the introduction of new technologies, or update their specialist expertise.
