AUDIO‐VISUAL AIDS

Abstract

Trainer Support Services (TSS) has introduced a new Open Learning programme Get in There — Embedding Training in the Business, intended for Training Managers and others who are responsible for training and human resource development in a business/organisational environment. The prime objective of the series is to provide assistance to the Training Manager in recognising the need for change in developing a training strategy which continues to meet, and contribute to, the changing needs of business. The package comprises a 17‐minute video presentation, three main workbooks and two supplementary workbooks. The video demonstrates the importance of involving the Training Manager in business decisions, and shows how critical it is that he or she is included at an early stage in the corporate planning process, especially when preparing people for change.
