Abstract

What is said to be a new method of combating corrosion on ships' hulls, has been developed by Cathodic Corrosion Control Ltd. The company, a subsidiary of Constructors John Brown Ltd., has adapted their standard CX3 line anode for marine work and incorporated it into an automatically controlled cathodic protection system for ships' hulls which has received approval from Lloyds Register of Shipping.
