Abstract

Director Appointed. D. F. Ward has been appointed to the board of directors of Barlow‐Whitney Ltd., of London and Bletchley. Mr. Ward served an engineering apprenticeship with The British Thomson‐Houston Co. Ltd., at Rugby, and subsequently held appointments in the research laboratory and special valve manufacturing department. In 1946, he joined Barlow‐Whitney as technical buyer and for the last three years has been manager of the company's Neasden factory.
