Abstract

By hot‐dip galvanizing steel and iron objects and constructions the corrosion resistance obtained is already very high and in the majority of cases no paint system is required as a supplementary protective coating. In practice, however, six cases can be shown where it is necessary or desirable to paint hot‐dip galvanized steel.
