Control Test for Filming Amines

Abstract

Successful and economical use of high‐molecular‐weight filming amines such as Alfloc Dispersion No. 190 for the prevention of corrosion in condensate systems depends on careful control, and this in the past has proved difficult as no satisfactory ‘field’ test for the determination of small quantities has been readily available. This difficulty has now been overcome.
