IMPROVED CORROSION RESISTANCE FOR CARS USING GALVANIZED STRIP

Abstract

The recent trend towards unitised body construction for American motorcars has been accompanied by a demand for materials with improved corrosion resistance and large tonnages of zinc‐coated steels are now being used. Considerable interest in this development has been shown in the U.K. and this article gives an account of current practice in the U.S.A.
