Abstract

In the first part of this paper, the author considered boiler design, insoluble boiler deposits, chemical conditions of boiler water and feed‐water, low‐load and off‐load conditions and hide‐out as factors concerned in boiler corrosion. In this final part he discusses how best to produce the desired water conditions. For the future, not all the answers may lie in water chemistry.
