Abstract

Ultrasonic vibrator. The Vibrason high‐intensity ultrasonic research and industrial tool, shown in Fig. 1, is suitable for use as either a solid, liquid or air loading equipment, and has a wide variety of uses. The equipment incorporates a continuous output ultrasonic generator, giving stepped power control of 25, 50 or 100 W at a nominal operating frequency of 20 kc/s. The transducer, of the robust magnetostriction type, is cooled by a fan mounted to the top of the main case and is designed for universal application to many industrial and laboratory tasks.
