Abstract
As long ago as 1932, or even earlier, the potentialities of stainless steel in architecture were beginning to be acknowledged. Its use in this field developed slowly at first, but in the post‐war years more and more architects have turned to stainless steel as a building material and nowhere has this been more evident than in the U.S.A.
