Abstract

Cooling samples of high‐temperature liquids. Sampling coolers (Fig. 1), designed for power stations, and those marine and industrial installations in which it is necessary to draw samples of liquids from vessels under conditions of high pressure and temperature, have been developed by Caird & Rayner Ltd., 777 Commercial Road, Limehouse, London, E.14. The coolers are also necessary in the operation of high‐pressure steam generating plant, where regular and accurate analysis of boiler water is essential.
