Abstract

December 1,1970 Insurance — Employers' liability — Office staff employed on contracts of service — Contracts terminated and new contracts entered into describing employees as “self‐employed” — No change in hours of work or remuneration — Staff subsequently forming partnership among themselves — Work and rates of pay continuing as before — Partnership remuneration paid weekly by lump sum to cashier partner to be divided among others — Whether firm liable for national insurance and industrial injury contributions — National Insurance Act, 1965 (c.51), ss. 1(2), 64(1) — National Insurance (Industrial Injuries) Act, 1965 (c.52), s.35(1).
