The National Insurance (General Benefit and Claims and Payments) Amendment Regulations 1971
Abstract
The Secretary of State for Social Services, in conjunction with the Treasury so far as relates to matters with regard to which the Treasury have so directed, in exercise of his powers under sections 48(1), 52(1) and 81(3) of the National Insurance Act 1965, as amended, in the case of the said section 52(1), by section 2(1) of the National Insurance &c. Act 1969 and section 141(1) of and Part II of Schedule 11 to the Post Office Act 1969, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following regulations, which contain no provisions other than such as are made in consequence of the National Insurance Act 1971 and which accordingly by virtue of section 16(3) of and paragraph 2(1)(a) of Schedule 6 to that Act are exempt from the requirements of section 108 of the said Act of 1965 (reference to the National Insurance Advisory Committee):—
