Abstract

THE British Government have decided on a policy in regard to airships which is described by the Prime Minister as “the maintenance of a scientific experimental interest in airship developments and in airship problems.” Rejecting on the one hand a return to the 1924 programme and starting the construction of new ships, and, on the other, a policy of letting matters rest, on the ground that British experience has been too discouraging to go on, they are following a middle course.
