Abstract

Very large milling cutter gangs for the machining of aircraft components from high tensile steel are being supplied to Vickers‐Armstrongs by the English Steel Tool Corporation Ltd. of Manchester. One of the gangs consists of two 15·200 in. diameter single angle cutters and three 14·592 in. diameter double equal angle cutters. They are among the largest solid H.S.S. cutters of this type made in Britain.
