Abstract

This small book is written for those who have not previously encountered vibration theory, but who have a reasonable mathematical background. In 224 small pages it deals with the fundamental theory of simple vibrating systems of one or more degrees of freedom, wave motion in rods, shafts and air, and non‐linear vibration.
