Abstract

Details of Some Components Used for Subsidiary Services in Aircraft, Missiles and Space Vehicles. A problem with sealed airborne electronic and radar containers is that they experience great stress due to the change in the relative pressure caused by temperature and altitude changes, and therefore must be made from heavy materials such as steel. Jf this stress can be reduced, then the weight of the container can also be decreased by making it from light alloy.
