Abstract

Jane's is now in its fifty‐seventh year and yet again it is larger and contains more information than the one which went before. This year there is more text matter than in any previous edition, with a total of 557 pages of editorial matter and a 25‐page index that covers the last ten editions. There are over 700 new illustrations, about half the total, and in spite of this and the increase in the editorial content, the price remains unchanged.
