Abstract

Brief Particulars of Recently Introduced Materials likely to have Aircraft, Missile or Space Vehicle Applications. When the first British‐assembled prototype 002 of the Anglo‐French supersonic airliner Concorde made its first flight in April its engines were lubricated with an entirely new synthetic lubricant specially developed by BP. It has already been used in the early flights of the French‐assembled prototype which first flew on March 2nd.
