Abstract

Details of Electrical and Electronic Apparatus with Applications in the Maintenance and Operation of Aircraft, Missiles and Space Vehicles. A new receiving antenna with active elements for 100 to 156 MHz has been devised by Rohde & Schwarz together with the Electronics Department of the Technical University of Munich (Director: Prof. H. H. Meinke). All measurements and tests carried out so far have given very good results and have proved the outstanding advantages of this antenna. Featuring low noise, low cross modulation, immunity to lightning and other environmental influences, and remarkable compactness, it is intended for use in air traffic control.
