Survival and Flight Equipment Association —: United Kingdom Chapter

Abstract

A RECENT SAFE (UK) newsletter has noted that the lecture on helicopter safety held at SABRE Ltd in September was well attended and was notable for the experts present. This subject is of considerable interest and further evenings are planned in the new year. The annual SAFE Symposium was due to be held in December in Las Vegas with some 85 papers due to be read, one of the main events being the James Martin Memorial Lecture to be given by Dr John Fozard. This will deal with the safety consideration which played a key part in the design and development of the Harrier. This lecture will be repeated before the Royal Aeronautical Society in January 1985.
