Abstract

HELD in Aberdeen a few miles from the busiest heliport in the world and at the centre of the ever‐increasing North Sea oil market, a recent conference and exhibition detailed developments, needs and advances in the rotating wing field and brought together manufacturers, operators and end‐users to discuss their problems and solutions. The contributions covered a wide variety of subjects and the papers referred to here concern what may be of the most interest to readers of Aircraft Engineering, some of the topics dealt with having been referred to recently in the magazine.
