Abstract

AEG has extended its range of avionic CRTs by introducing a new 4.5″ × 6″ rectangular screen cockpit tube. The M19‐E845 is an extremely bright ultra‐high‐resolution colour tube, which is available as a self‐contained unit and has already proved successful in extensive flight trials. For example, three units are being used as interactive multi‐function displays in the British Aerospace ‘Experimental Aircraft Programme’, the overall display system being supplied by Smith's Industries.
