Contracts

Abstract

The Boeing Electronics High Technology Centre has awarded a $75,000 contract to Heriot‐Watt University in Edinburgh for research programme to develop a complete demonstration prototype of an optical computing experimental architecture. The funds cover the startup phase of what is expected to be research extending over a period of approximately four years. The contract is a direct result of the E‐3 AWACS offset programme, established between Boeing and the United Kingdom.
