Abstract

‘MASSIVE, impressive but human, interesting and worthwhile’. This is the description of the Special Libraries of America annual conference this summer, given by Johan van Halm, Manager of Documentary Information Services, of Verenigde Machinefabrieken NV of Amsterdam. He had been asked to lecture in Toronto on ‘special libraries in the international scene’.
