Abstract

THE LONG heralded ABLIB/IIS/LA conference in Sheffield is now but a memory and another tome, soon to be added to the shelves of staff libraries, which should be at least dipped into by all practitioners. This conference was like many another with its share of platitudes, poor papers and poor delivery. Nevertheless it had a life of its own and was well worth attending.
