The Shallow end

Abstract

WHEN WE crib a good thing for this column from somewhere else we don't present it as original thought. This new service which we are considering introducing for our readers, ‘Guide for buyers’, will be somewhat similar to—and, to be quite truthful, more or less derived from—the Library journal feature ‘Buyers' guide’. But we will, as usual on the rare occasions when we do steal an idea, try to improve on it.
