Infusion

Abstract

Good afternoon, and welcome to the College. As you have spent your first term out in the real world of industry and commerce I'm afraid you've missed the cream buns with the mayor in November, and the glass of wine with the Principal in October. As a matter of fact they're both in London today — a rate‐capping demo I understand. So we're going to start with the information skills module. That means me introducing the Librarian usually (but he's just taken early retirement) and the Library (and some of that looks life‐expired, I must say).
