Futures shock: LA calls for more paper

Abstract

If you could tear yourselves away from the snooker, gentlemen, I think we should make a start with collating some of the submissions, for Futures reference. First, I'm pleased to say we had 37 replies which do not substantially disagree with our main conclusions. One respondent said he did not wish to retract anything he said at Islington, but I have been unable to establish what he did say. The rest can be classified according to the main clauses of our Report, although one cynic, or neo‐Marxist, complained there was no Sanity clause.
