Abstract

I like it! A company which sets out to undertake as a service for industry the kind of jobs that nobody else wants to do. They are MOTIVITY of 34 Percy Road, Hampton, Middlesex and the phone number is 01–979 6277. For some time they have been willing to assemble equipment, make small parts, do hack‐work, and always politely and effectively. They have been described as “The ODDest Job People” and are anxious to pack, fill, paste, insert, label, type, address, fold, stamp, collate, analyse, sort into alphabetical order…. the kind of work which demands reliable staff but which, by its sheer size or monotoony, people would love to offload. Some of these tedious jobs certainly arise in libraries, so why not make a note of this useful company?
