Feminist Audio Books — A Tape Library For Blind Women
Abstract
I am a graduate Chartered Librarian. I left The Polytechnic of North London with a degree in Librarianship in July 1981, got my Charter at the Jewish Chronicle library in November 1982 and joined Feminist Audio Books in January 1986. FAB had just been funded by the Greater London Council Women's Committee, which was about to be abolished on 31 March 1986, with no guarantee of future funding. Since then, FAB has been funded by the London Boroughs Grants Scheme.
