The research search
Abstract
Everybody's doing it. Everybody who is not doing it wants to do it. We all believe there should be more of it. Other people tell us we should do it. When we do it, many others tell us we should not have done it (because they should have done it instead). Children at school tell us they do it. PhDs in the throes tell us they have almost completed it. Retired librarians devote their fading years to it. Bibliographers diligently record it … RESEARCH.
