Abstract

There can be no doubt that information technology (IT) has emerged as a major force in determining success or failure in the business world. Even if one sets aside for the moment the notion that IT could possibly contribute to real competitive advantage, the most cursory reviews still reveal that information systems are a way of life in nearly every facet of business.
