Productivity: Tech‐ploitation: The New Manufacturing Credo
Abstract
From the wheel to the microchip, experience shows that it can take years for any culture to make optimum use of new or advanced technologies. Corporate cultures, however, can hardly wait a millennium to adapt to the new. What's more, just because something is modern, doesn't mean that it can be implemented easily, nor will technology alone necessarily make a company's manufacturing process measurably more effective and efficient.
