Abstract

Since the introduction of the Web, the Internet has evolved from being a place where people sought information, transmitted e‐mail messages, and purchased goods and services, to becoming the progenitor of a whole new method of doing business. In fact, in the next four years, 500 million Web users will transact more than $1 trillion in business through the Internet (IDC data).
