Abstract

Agreement has been reached in principle for the acquisition by ICI of a 70% interest in the German paint manufacturer Hermann Wiederhold KG of Hilden, near Dusseldorf. As soon as the formalities are completed, the operations of ICI's existing German paint interests in Spangenberg Werke near Hamburg will be integrated with Wiederhold.
