Abstract

Zemid is a new line of reinforced mineral‐filled polyethylene resins. According to the company, these resins can be processed by all conventional methods and have exceptional properties, especially in low temperature applications. They are said to be unique in retaining virtually all their stiffness/toughness performance at temperatures as low as −40°C. This capability makes the resins suitable for many winter applications, including snow moving equipment and recreational products.
