Abstract

The Inner London Education Authority calls it a detached youth project, but it looks from the High Street very much like a bookshop. Glenn Thompson, who can best be described as the boss, is reluctant to offer a pat summary about what they are trying to do in Hackney, he simply says, ‘Come along and see what's going on—you don't have to be socialist.’
