The Electronic Library Manager's Guide to Technology Watching

Abstract

Scouring the world's scientific and technical press I come across all kinds of interesting things which I feel could and/or should be potentially used in electronic library and information environments. But before technology can be used, first others more involved have to know about it and then someone has to implant an idea in their heads. The applications then follow hopefully from that. One of my roles as a technomediary is to bring new information technology to the attention of others — you. The rest is then up to you!
