Abstract
Libraries typically use multiple personal computers. There may be a computer for accessing the Internet, a computer for playing CD‐ROMs, several computers (or workstations) to allow patrons to access the library's catalogue, and other computers used to process acquisitions, check out and receive items on loan, and perform administrative tasks.
