The JAPAN INFORMATION CENTER OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY AND ITS ACTIVITIES
Abstract
The Japan Information Center of Science and Technology (JICST) was established on 16th August 1957 by Act of special incorporation as an organization of non‐profit character supported by government and industry. It was established for the purpose of contributing to the development of science and technology by means of collecting, processing, storing, and retrieving scientific information. Translation and photoduplication services were also to be included.
