Evaluating management procedures: The right way
Abstract
Companies and investors are constantly examining other companies as potential acquisitions or investments. Over the past ten years, I have conducted detailed investigations of more than 80 large publicly‐owned companies in many industries, companies ranging in size from $200 million to $12 billion in sales. These companies universally have said that my interviewing approach is unique. My clients find the results to be cogent and useful. The same approach may assist planners in analyzing potential acquisitions, candidates for the investment portfolio, or even their own companies.
