Reviving quality training

Abstract

While the central role of the Barnsley Partnership is to generate jobs and link them to the right people in Barnsley, the Partnership is seeking quality rather than quantity in its early stages. In the face of severe recession in the construction industry, the Partnership is attempting to provide a model of good practice in which training can provide a workforce for long‐term economic development in the Barnsley region.
