Authority Control with a Standalone Program

Abstract
The OCLC Terminal Software SaveScreen function allows M300 Workstation users to save records appearing on the monitor to machine‐readable files. The staff of Xavier University Libraries have created several microcomputer programs to process these files. Perhaps the most unusual of these is the program that manipulates authority and reference records.
