Abstract

Our group of seven independent school libraries replaced our OCLC Model 110 terminals with M300 Workstations last summer. We also purchased the Cataloging Micro Enhancer software (CAT ME), with some vague notions about using it for “downloading,” “non‐prime‐time produce,” and “offline editing.” After using the ME for a week, we were comfortable with it but not sure it was all it was cracked up to be. After about three weeks, and working out the kinks in our processing workflow, we were convinced it's the best thing to come along since the first OCLC terminals.
