PORT IN A STORM: And now for the good news…
Abstract
The Port of London's reputation for labour disruption and poor productivity is challenged by Leslie Reynolds, director of studies at the Port Transport Division. Replying to a report in the June issue of Industrial Management that London's docks were threatened by another strike, Reynolds — an ex‐docker, who is now a member of the National Ports' Council — gives his version of what is happening at this vital export outlet.
