Abstract

Experts have found that there is a varied and often shallow appreciation of the real role that management should play in setting up computer projects. A lack of understanding of the jargon that has grown up with management as with the computer industry means that managers tend to have a conceptual, rather than a real and tangible understanding of the subject. In this article a consultant highlights the importance of senior management playing an effective role.
