2007 Awards for excellenace
Emerald invests in its authors and through the Literati Network Awards for Excellence, Emerald Editors select and reward authors for their high quality papers. As well as rewarding authors, Emerald wishes to acknowledge the hard work and achievement of its Editors. Editors, all subject specialists in their own field, do a superb job of maintaining the highest quality of research papers for the journals. It is through their commitment and efforts that Emerald journals are consistently of the highest quality.
The ``Leading Editor'' Awards acknowledge the high commitment Editors have to their journals and their efforts to maintain and raise the standing of the journals. Leading Editors have worked hard on journal development and sought to comprehensively promote their journal to both authors and readers. They may have nurtured new authors, networked and shared ideas with other journal Editors, contributed conference papers and promoted their journal at conferences.
Leading Editor Awards are given by the Publisher of the relevant journal, and up to ten are given each year. For the 2007 Emerald Literati Network Awards for Excellence, Emerald Publisher Eileen Breen, selected Dr David Raitt (European Space Agency (ESTEC), The Netherlands, The Electronic Library) for the outstanding contribution he has made as the Editor of this journal over 25 years.
