Keywords Training, Europe

Representatives of 11 new countries and territories have joined the advisory forum of the European Training Foundation. Algeria, Cyprus, Egypt, Israel, Lebanon, Malta, Morocco, the Palestinian Authority, Syria, Tunisia and Turkey set out how the reform of education and training is progressing. This gave the foundation an overall picture of the immediate and long-term needs of these peoples. The foundation is an EU organization which has, until now, concentrated on aiding the reform of education and training in Central and Eastern Europe. Members of the advisory forum include representatives from trade unions, employer organizations and international bodies.
